The Delight of Steps

Nicki has decided that steps are fun.  We took a walk along the bay today; and, in order to get to the park at water's level had to walk down railway overpass from street level.   Nicki had been on these steps before and also on the steps to the Squalicum Hill lookout tower.  But he seemed uncertain as to why steps were the way they were.  Today he figured out that the reason for steps is that they allow you to get up into the sky like a bird.  

Nicki couldn't get enough running down and up and down and up again, peering out on each landing at the scene below him.
