Saving the Day

The rinse-cycle began again today.  Dog and man stayed dry if bored.  In such situations, there is only one solution:

Incidentally, on the issues of pies, i have always been a devotée of hand and fork kneaded dough.  But my "chuck-it elbow" doesn't advise prolonged hand-wrist-elbow shoulder beating motions.  So today i decided to use the bread maker: dump the butter cubes, salt and flour into the machine and turn on "dough;" once it ploughs the butter and flour into one, add water au gout.

Along with the ice-cream i made yesterday, the day may be salvageable.
