Discs

There was this weird yellow glowy thing in the sky today; but it felt nice, so Nicki and i drove on down to Sehome Hill.

On our way we stopped off at the camera shop where Two Foot bought a zoom lens for his Nikon.  Sehome Hill lies south of the city near the WSU campus.  It is covered with a dense growth of pines that give a hiker the sense of wilderness.  For a being like Nicki who could care less about tall pines, the moist and mulching soil is an olfactory planetarium beyond human smelling.  Running up over, under and down, he must have taken at least 30 steps for every one of mine.

We got to the top where there is a wooden tower which we climbed.  Alas for TwoFoot, the vast flood plain to the north was hazy so that Golden Ears and the BC mountain range was not as sparkling crisp as it might have been.  (In fact it was barely at all... )

Atop Ol' Sehome .....
On the way down, however, we came across an amazing apparition.
